Graham Chrystie: Your strong local voice for Pyrford

Graham was first elected in 2011 and has been a very active councillor with his specialisation in Planning, where he currently Chairs the Planning Committee.

He also is the longest serving member of the Overview & Scrutiny Committee and initially spent time in the Voluntary Sector where he reconstructed the Woking Association of Voluntary Services (WAVS). Always active in his Pyrford Ward he was one of the founding members of the Pyrford Neighbourhood Forum.

He has for many years been a member of the Residents Association for Byfleet, West Byfleet and Pyrford which he chaired prior to his election as a Councillor. Graham also takes a keen interest in West Byfleet, helping the Forum there and is much involved with trying to rejuvenate the Village. Maybury is important to him and he is involved with initiatives to boost the community. He believes the Lib Dems offer the best solution to driving the Borough ahead with much emphasis upon his Ward which requires more attention and support.

Graham lives in the Ward, his two daughters attended Pyrford Primary and First Schools.
