Cllr Ian Johnson wants better park lighting to deal with Vandalism
The Lib Dems are calling on Woking Borough Council to improve public safety in Woking Park.
Lib Dem Councillor Ian Johnson will propose a motion during Thursday's Full Council meeting asking Woking Council to look into options for improving public safety in Woking Park.
Lib Dem Councillor for Mount Hermon West, Ian Johnson said:
"There have been well-publicised incidents in Woking Park recently involving public safety and vandalism which lead me to feel we should review the current standard of lighting on the footpaths. We should also consider whether the installation of CCTV might assist in enhancing public safety and fighting crime."
