Liam Lyons for Mount Hermon West
Living in Mount Hermon West gives me first-hand experience of the problems and issues that face residents in our ward. Although I am an experienced campaigner, this is the first time I have stood for local council. If elected to Woking Borough Council, I will work hard to make sure residents get a fair deal with their council tax, that the money is being spent on services that residents need, and not wasted by poor management. I will also make sure residents' concerns are represented, heard and rigorously addressed, and not ignored. I work as a secondary school teacher, and serve as a Governor to two local schools. I have also worked as a trade union representative. I really love living in Woking, but there is so much that could be done to improve it for local residents and businesses.
